Could you provide us (posting, email, chat, whatever) with the precise name and location of the motel, and driving directions from 401 (exit #, etc.)? Also, does the motel have a handicapped parking area and entrance? I took two very rough falls last week and the cane now won't always do; I may also need a walker.
