Herman, I have to agree with you. I have multiple pc's running ADAMemulator
which easily runs all the ADAM programs (at least all I have tried). Only
have Win95& Win98, but both are stable. Also Shon.....YES, there IS a hard
drive that plugs in thru ADAMnet - I have the one and only that didn't get
tossed by Mark Gordon when he moved west. Came to ANN via Bob Blair who
protected it with his life until he entrusted it to me. As ol' Herman
remembers, we peeked under the hook @ AC 14 I think........ HAPPY OCTOBER

Maybe I am missing something, but I AM running various games on my Dos box
using ADAMem. One difference, I choose the fat32 option, when I partitioned,
for my drive letters goes to "W" with my dvd droves and card readers and
also because I have a multi boot system that will bring up either XP, 2000.
or ME. Drive C hosts ME, D hosts 2000, and E hosts XP, some programs share
all 3 operating systems. ADAMem works fine with either operating system. I
can't do tdos but I have even ran my bbs via XP and Either SB1.x or
ADAMServe... not sure, and it worked fine. naturally their was some
adjustments but I often play tapper, and several other games. SO what am I
missing when I hear several people say they can't run coleco games on their
dos boxes.

Good Friends are FOREVER... And Thats a Long, LONG, Time. So, PLEASE Stay

There was never a third party Harddrive released that worked with the
Adamnet Interface. Such a device would have been awesome since it would have
been compatible with all software. One day all the Adam's will break down and
there will not be any replacement parts.
The future of the Adam is for someone to make a program that runs under
Windows Vista or Windows XP that reads 3 1/2" 1.44 Disks on the Adam. I have
not used my Adam for many years but I have all my software currently on 3
1/2" Disk and would be willing to pay $100 or more for a professional
program that would allow my computer to act like a Adam/Colecovision system.
I am only interested in running the Super games and colecovision cartridges.
These are classic games. Very few people today would consider using the Adam
as a Word processor or spreadsheet with the much better Microsoft products.
