[Coladam] clearing up the mystery...

Hey, another pair of eyes looking for ADAM stuff will be good...I wonder how many ADAMs and other equipment are buried in landfills someplace around Coleco headquarters???

While on the subject of old ADAM stuff...I'm still looking for documentaion for the Eve Speech Synthesizer. I had even contacted Hank Szretter awhile back and he promised to see if he could come up with a copy, but he never got back to me again. Anyone got any?

I got a similar response when I asked whether or not they had any other gems they'd be listing like this:

Hey ~ Not a problem whatsoever about the photos...Glad I could help! Well, with such an unexpected tremendous response to this listing I will most definately be keeping an eye out for more ADAM and/or Coleco items when I am out & about! At present time, this is all for now; but like I said, the old Coleco factory was rather local - about 30 miles or so from where we lived...in lieu of that, I do hope to come across more in the future :) Take Care, JJ

Well, since I guess no one else did, I thought I would try to clear up the mystery of who is selling those items on eBay...I simply asked them! While I didn't get a name, I did get this:

Hi! Wow! This is really neat! I've had a HUGE response to this listing, over 60 bookmarks on it currently and it's really nice to know how many collectors like ourselves are out there. My hubby and I collect old Atari items; but, we came across these at a local flea market, found them quite interesting and figured they must be pretty rare....the old Coleco Plant is only about 30 miles from here...I'm guessing that's how we happened upon these. You probably wouldn't recognize us because we don't belong to any formal groups or anything. Take Care and have fun collecting!! :) JJ
