Corrections... I was off on the numbering of both by one... the 1350 was a 
joystick emulation only mouse. The 1351 had both a joystick emulation mode and a 
proportional mode, and the proportional mode does indeed use the POTX/Y inputs 
on the 8-bit commodores.

The 1351 (or was it 1352?) mouse had two modes of operation... One as a standard 
mouse and another for joystick emulation.

I believe in either case though it was digital.
