[Coladam] Coladam Digest, Vol 99, Issue 1

I have had this problem myself with a fully loaded system (two tape drives,
and three expansion cards) using a PC power supply as well. The problem in
that case was a loose power connector at the side of the system. Usually
wiggling the power connector would fix it (until I fixed it properly that
is).

Chances are that now there is significant power supply ripple from the
printer power supply. There are a number of electrolytic capacitors on it
that are no doubt well past their sell-by date. This is not a problem
unique to the ADAM, but plagues all electronics, but in particular vintage
computer electronics.
